Kraft Make Life Big

I really struggle to create a card and follow a sketch.  I do okay with the CAS sketches but I'm not much of a layered card maker so these challenge are extremely difficult for me.  I made about 5 or 6 cards for this challenge and didn't like any of them!  I have a lot of goodies now in my "try to re-use" box right now!  I finally decided to go with this one, even though I don't really think it's my style but I wanted to enter the July Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge.  The more I tried and failed, the more determined I was to come up with a card that fit this sketch below:

Also entering this in the Simon Says Monday Add Some Texture Challenge (Twine and feather) and the  Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge.
I used patterned paper from a Kraft stack in my stash, the sentiment is RC Posted Note Sentiments.  Instead of using a banner, I decided for this card to use a piece of stitched brown ribbon and cut it like a banner.   The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Sepia ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used scalloped circles for the sentiment and popped it up over twine and a cool feather from my stash.  I finished it off with the flower sequins from my stash.  (I added a little strip of the dotted paper down the left side of the card, you can see it in the picture on the right below.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
