Working on some holiday cards and this one was inspired by a few challenges.  I used Gina K Designs card stocks:  white inked with Distress Inks and GKD "Moonlit Fog" ink and GKD black card stock, GKD "Winter Cheer" and "Christmas Wishes" stamp sets, some snowflake brads that came in an older GKD kit, glitter for the ice, Marvy snow marker for small snowflakes, Versafine Black ink, Zig Clean Color markers, dies from Memory Box (circles), Wplus9 (top scalloped panel) and the Waffle Flower tiny twine bow was cut from silver glitter paper.  I filled the center of the snowflake brads with white enamel accents.

Kraft Make Life Big

I really struggle to create a card and follow a sketch.  I do okay with the CAS sketches but I'm not much of a layered card maker so these challenge are extremely difficult for me.  I made about 5 or 6 cards for this challenge and didn't like any of them!  I have a lot of goodies now in my "try to re-use" box right now!  I finally decided to go with this one, even though I don't really think it's my style but I wanted to enter the July Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge.  The more I tried and failed, the more determined I was to come up with a card that fit this sketch below:

Also entering this in the Simon Says Monday Add Some Texture Challenge (Twine and feather) and the  Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge.
I used patterned paper from a Kraft stack in my stash, the sentiment is RC Posted Note Sentiments.  Instead of using a banner, I decided for this card to use a piece of stitched brown ribbon and cut it like a banner.   The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Sepia ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used scalloped circles for the sentiment and popped it up over twine and a cool feather from my stash.  I finished it off with the flower sequins from my stash.  (I added a little strip of the dotted paper down the left side of the card, you can see it in the picture on the right below.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

North Pole Reindeer

Working on some holiday cards today and made this with some new stamps (no name brand on them), Spectrum Noir markers, Wink of Stella, dotted die from Paper Smooches, Distress Inks, ink blending tool, Marvy Snow marker and heat gun to puff the snow up.

Red White & Blue Thinking of You

This card was made using card stock, patterned paper stamps and dies from the new Simon Says August Kit.  The die is called "Vented Star Die" and the stamps set is "Seeing Stars".  Twine and sequins from my stash.  The whole card was sprayed with shimmer spray but it's hard to see in the pictures!

Dog-gone Awesome

This card was inspired by a few challenges:  Come and Get It Kid Challenge and I wanted to enter the Just Us Girls Challenge #353 Photo Inspiration Challenge, but I didn't have any golf stamps.  (I used the background for inspiration for my card.)  See the picture below.  Also entering this in the CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #183

I used a Tim Holtz Stripes Stencil with Clarity Stencil brushes and Distress Inks in blues and greens, then inked lightly over the whole panel with kraft colored ink.  The dog stamp is from Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs set and the sentiment is from The Stamps of Life "Treats4cookie" set.  I colored images with Spectrum Noir markers, then fussy cut them and popped them up on the card for dimension.  I just love these dog stamps - I'm a dog person so they were a must for me to get!
Happy crafting and thanks for stopping by!

Santa Wishes

Supplies used were:  2 holiday stamp sets I bought in a garage sale yesterday with no name on them, one of them was from Michaels store, but no other names or identification marks on them.  Paper Smooches dots die, Spectrum Noir markers, Wink of Stella, white card stock from Gina K. Designs, inside strip is colored with matching Spectrum Noir marker so you can see the red through the holes in the front.  Thanks for stopping by!

My Anchor

"You are my anchor" card made with white and kraft card stock from Gina K Designs, Lawn Fawn "You Float My Boat" stamp set, Designs by Ryn "Water Effects 1" stamp set, Distress Inks, Ink blending tool, small paint brush, white gel pen and twine.
Thanks for stopping by!

I'm entering this in the Simon Says Monday Nautical/By the Sea Challenge and in the Cards in Envy Heat Wave Challenge (beating the heat in the water!) and in The Heart Desires Tropical Challenge #2  and in the AAA Cards One Stash Favorite.  (Fav stash item is my new water drop stamps.)

Sandpaper Welcome

I was playing around today with sand paper from my husbands tool box to see if it could be stamped, colored, etc and what effects I could get using it on cards.  The banner and upside down flower are stamped and die cut out of sand paper using Versafine black ink, then adding blue Perfect Pearls on top.  Other supplies used were card stock from Gina K Designs, banner die from Mama Elephant, large stitched scalloped die from Wplus9, We R Memories Next Level embossing folder, flower stamp and die from Cas-ual Fridays "Mon Ami" set.  The sentiment is from a set of sentiments that I have - one of my very first purchases and it has no name on it so I'm not sure where it came from.

I'm not done playing with that sand paper but this was my first creation stamping on it and die cutting it.  It's pretty shiny and I tried to capture that in some of the pictures below.

Happy Splatters

This card was inspired by the colors in the challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations #367 Challenge.    I used Your Next Stamp YNS "Paint Swooshes and Splatters" with Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Mustard Seed along with sentiment from YNS "Sentiments 4".  I die cut two YNS "Stitched Loop Dies" and used them behind the top panel to make a cute border on each side.  I filled in each loop with Wink of Stella but you can't see it in the pictures.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
