One layer card made with sentiment from Verve Stamp set called Just Breathe, heat embossed in clear. I used Distress Inks and the smooshing technique with a water and a piece of acetate. Die is the Dots frome Avery Elle a Dots & Dashes, finished with corner rounder.
Entering this in the Less is More #267 Challenge for One Layer Sentiment's the focus. Do the water droplets from Pretty Pink Posh disqualify this from the challenge?
I think the inks on these almost look like lightening bolts....a force to be reckoned with for sure!
You got great results with your watercolor smooshing. Is your paper striped? It looks kindof textured in the photo.
ReplyDeleteYes, Heidi, it's textured or ribbed cardstock. Thanks for your sweet comments!
DeleteThe background is perfect frame for this sentiment! Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I love the smooshing technique, and you've chosen such lovely colours. The dotted edge and water droplets really add to the effect. Fab!

ReplyDeleteFabulous smooshing and water colouring here and love the depth of cover you've achieved. A perfect backdrop for your sentiment and thanks for playing along at Less is More this week. Sarah
ReplyDeleteCool card, loving the punched detail at the edge
ReplyDeleteKathyk
wonderful background and great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteLovely vibrant smooshing and the dots and water droplets are a great touch. Our rules for OLCs state no additional layers but minimal embellishments, so these water droplets are perfectly fine :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us.
