What is the Lasting Hearts Card Drive you ask?
It’s a card drive to help comfort mothers who have lost a piece of their hearts.  Losing a child can be one of the most painful events a parent can endure.  This drive is to raise awareness and to show these parents that they are not alone and there are many people from all over who care deeply and are praying for them.  I hope you can find a little time to join in and share your creations with this worthy cause!
So Kimberly, the women who is in charge of this event, would love to include a handmade card along with this book:  You are the Mother of all Mothers” books by Angela Miller to each grieving family to show them some love and kindness.
If you would love to send your cards to be included in this amazing drive, please send them here:

I choose Rainbow Prayer theme for my card because a rainbow is such
a symbol of hope, the calm after the storm.  If you scroll down to the
bottom, you can see more views that show the rainbow colors in the foiling.

I used the Hero Arts/Simon Says set "Prayers" stamps and dies (SRHA15) to create this sentiment.  I foiled the sentiment on black cardstock with rainbow Deco Foil, then die cut it with coordinating die.  I also used the same foil on the strip "sending you".  The main panel was lightly inked with Hero Arts Ombre Ink's lightest color over the Hero Arts Bold Floral Stencil (SA067), then die cut with Die-Namics Stitched Rectangle Frames dies.  Also cut a black panel with the same die to make the black frame.  I adhered the tiny strip and Prayers die on the panel, then mounted the top panel to the card base with fun foam.  I added a tiny bow made from ribbon by May Arts.

Thanks for stopping by!  The items I used are below.  If it's sold out in the store, just click the aqua Request Button on the store site and ask for it.  We'll get it to you asap at no extra charge!  And that goes for ANY Hero Arts product you're interested in.  Use Angie15 to get 15% discount on your purchase ($25 minimum, excluding shipping).  Here's a link to the store:  A2ZScrapbooking

Here's a few more views so you can see the foil rainbow colors and shine:

And here are some other cards I've been working on to send in a large envelope to
Lasting Hearts Card Drive.  I hope you can participate in this worthy cause!
