Guest Designing for The Male Room Challenge #130 - Embossing

Hello and welcome!

I'm very honored to guest design for Challenge #130 at The Male Room!

Here's the theme:

For my card I dry embossed the anchor background with a Darice embossing folder.  I also heat embossed the sentiment.  The striped paper is from my stash and the water waves were cut from watercolored paper (watercolored with Distress Inks) with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Wave dies and stacked.  I colored the images with alcohol markers after stamping them with Amalgam ink, assembled my card and then added Nuvo Jewel drops.

Faith & Hope Will Get You Through with Graciellie Designs French Rose

Hello and welcome!

I have an encouragement card made today with a brand newly released digital stamp set by Graciellie Design called "Hey Beautiful" featuring a French rose image and some gorgeous sentiments in a fun font.  Here's a look at the new digital set:

It's a great set for encouragement cards with some amazing sentiments you can use on your cards and projects.  I printed the rose image, a few leaf branches and sentiment and then colored the rose with a "Sugar Almond Pink" Zig Clean color brush and a water brush.  After I finished coloring it and let it dry, I ran it through my Mini Mink and foiled it with  Deco Foil in "Emerald Green Watercolor" foil.

If you look at the photo below, the foil looks black because I took the picture with no reflection.

Now look at the picture below and you can see the variety of colors in that watercolor foil:
