Valentine's Day Card with Joy Clair Stamps

Hello and welcome!  

It's Angie here with my first Joy Clair post for 2020!  Happy New Year to you all!

I'm happy to be here to share with you my love of Joy Clair Stamps.  There are so many exciting things happening this year - stay tuned - you won't want to miss a thing!  

I decided I better get busy and make Valentine's Day cards for next month so I pulled out some of my favorite sets and made 2 cards.  

I used  Joy Clair's "I Think You're s'Whale" stamp set and the Joy Clair "Love Languages" stamp set for this first card - for all the details on how I made this card, click HERE to go to the Joy Clair blog.

I included one more picture because I made a matching envelope and for my return address stamp, I used a custom Joy Clair stamp.  Joy Clair has quite a few styles of these they can make for you and they can even make special stamps from your logo, etc.  (I've blocked out my address with a post it for privacy.)

For my 2nd card for today's I used Joy Clair "Best Buds" stamp set and the Joy Clair's "Valentine Background Builder" stamp set.  For details on this card and how I made it click HERE.

Rainbow Proud of You with Pinkfresh Studio & Simon Says Stamp

Hello and welcome!

The card I have for you today consists of a large die from Pinkfresh Studio and a sentiment die and inks from Simon Says Stamp.  I used the inks direct to paper to make a rainbow effect and then went back over the edges of the colors with blender brushes to smooth and even out the color transitions.

I am new to Simon Says Inks and bought my first 6 pack of inks a while back and have discovered that they are quickly becoming some of my favorite all time inks.  The colors are gorgeous and the blend beautifully.  They also are a great ink to use if you like to ink up embossing folders.

But don't be fooled by the initial splotchy look you get when you use first them, because after they dry they a such a gorgeous hue and very even tone.

The large flower cover die was cut twice and layered and the sentiment base was cut 4 times out of white, once out of black and the inside letters cut once from white - all stacked up!
