Happy 4th of July

Starting to make some 4th of July cards for the summer.  This one is based on a sketch from 

CASE this Sketch #174 and I used some of the colors from Addicted to Stamps and More Photo Inspiration #195

                              

I used the sentiment from Hero Arts Celebrate Everyday stamp set along with dies from MFT Sun, Moon and Stars die set, gingham paper from my stash, Spectrum Noir markers, glitter gel pen and card stock from Gina K Designs.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Purr-fect

Happy Memorial Day!  I had a little time to work in the craft room today, mostly finishing up tuxedo stud sets for the shop, but always can find time to squeeze in a card or two!  I was inspired by both the Mod Squad Use it or Lose it Challenge and the Stamp TV MIUM Challenge Black and White with just a pop of color.  I've had these "Vintage Cuts" from Gina K. Designs just sitting in a drawer and never seem to use them, so I thought I'd use a couple up on today's card.  Thanks to Kathy Krug and Peggy Timmerman for hosting this Mod Squad Challenge - I need to use things I have!!!!

The stamps are from GKD Better With You set and the pop of red was created with Spectrum Noir marker on white card stock, then cut into butterflies with the Poppy Stamps Happy Butterfly Sash die and into one strip to go on the left side.  Wink of Stella was added to all the red elements to help them pop!  I'm not really a cat person, so I also don't use cat stamps much!  I'm a dog person!  Just ask my sweet Maggie!

3 Color Love & Prayers

One layer "With love and prayers" card made with Gina K Designs card stock, GKD inks in Blue Lagoon, Lipstick, and Apple Mint, GKD flower and some leaf stamps from GKD Made with Love, other leaves from GKD Spring Blessings set and sentiment from GKD Sending Love.

Look for the Miracles

Happy Sunday!  I used the inspiration photo from Just Us Girls to come up with this card.  Stamps are from Simon Says Look for the Miracles set, card stock is from Gina K Designs.   Also used, clear embossing powder, Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and GKD Lipstick ink, washi tape and stones from my stash.  Entering this in:

I also made a just yellow, black and white one for fun.  (See the last picture.)  Love how with your Misti, you can make several of the same card and vary them if you want to!

Coral, Black & Gold Beautiful

It finally stopped raining so I think this will be it for me today...time to get outside!

I used the colors from the color Challenge #343

Sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts "You're So Lovely" set and the flowers and leaves are from Gina K. Designs "Better with You" set.  I used Hero Arts Black Dye Ink, Versamark Ink and gold embossing powder, Hero Arts Coral Ink, a Tim Holtz burlap stencil, and some black/white gingham.

Finished off with some scattered rainstones.
