Miss You Bird and Bee

I made this card for one of my grand daughters and plan to enter it in the I (heart) Sketches, Challenge #151 over at From the Heart Digital Stamps blog.
I used their "Bee Happy Birdbrain" stamp and colored it with Spectrum Noir and Zig Clean Color Markers, then cut it out with a stitched circle die from Memory Box.  I matted that on a black Lacy Circle die from We R Memories.  I used black and white stripe washi tape to make the bottom border.  I popped the bird circle on fun foam for dimension and added Wink of Stella to the eyes, bee, flowers and beak.  I finished it off with a couple of gems from Hero Arts in the middle of the flowers.

I'm also entering this in the Cards in Envy Just Us Girls Challenge

Just a Note with Sparkle Vellum

Having fun in the cave today!  I recently received my Hero Arts May kit and it had the prettiest vellum in it!  I also received this really cool die from Impression Obsession that's a border of hugs and kisses!  I used supplies from the kit, gems, vellums in clear with sparkles and turquoise, black and white card stock from Gina K Designs, patterned paper from Lawn Fawn "Perfectly Plaid" stack, and the sentiment stamp is from The Cat's Pajamas set called "Home Tweet Home".  I love how this turned out with all those cool vellums they included in the kit!

Howdy from Texas

Having fun playing in the cave today!!!  I made the woodgrain background by dragging Distress Ink (Walnut Stain) down a piece of GKD white cardstock.  I stamped this awesome "Texas" stamp from the new Hero Arts Summer Release H6170 that I bought at a2zscrapbooking store.  Then I die cut the "Howdy" from The Frantic Stamper from the panel, then another in dark brown and one more in black.  I pieced it back (lots of little pieces!)  into the opening with brown, then the black on top of that, then added Gelly Roll Glitter pen to the top for some added shine.  I cut the panel to 3.75" across, added it to the card base and added thin strips of black to anchor it a little.

Grateful Purple Plaid

I had a little time to spend in the woman cave today!  I used purple plaid designer paper from Gina K Designs from the "Sending Love" pack.  I used dies from Paper Smooches called "Dainty Flowers" to inlaid the black outlines and plaid inserts into the lavender card stock from GKD.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Handwritten Grateful D6138.  I just love the way that stamp looks!

I die cut a black panel with a stitched scalloped rectangle die and mounted the lavender panel on to the black piece, then to a piece of the plaid paper, then onto the card base, also GKD heavy base white.  I finished it by adding a few clear sequins from my stash.

You are a Blessing

Watercolor card for a family member....used the new Hero Arts Kit (plus add on's) for May to die cut the "You" out of a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper that was made with Distress Inks, water and black acrylic paint.  Sentiment stamp is from the kit's stamp set stamped in Staz-On black ink.  Also from the kit are the pretty gems.  Twine is from my stash.  Entering this in the following challenges:

Birthday 4 Male Musician

I made this in the cave today for a friend's birthday.  He uses a lot of post-it notes so I made this little holder out of cardboard and patterned paper.  I made a matching card and added sentiment in Stazon ink from Simon Says Stamp Bday Flowers set and the black labels are from the last SSS kit.  The R sticker is from my stash and the "Happy Birthday" is from the Gina K Designs kit Made with Love.  I used a scalloped circle punch on those and then inked the edges with Distress Ink in Antique Linen.
