For Karen Hightower's Size Doesn't Matter StampTV MIUM Challenge -
I used the new Stamp TV Kit just out - I've had it for several days but was so busy judging music contests this past week, I didn't have time to even open it!!!!  I did today!!!

So I made this with stamps from the set, GKD inks in Lipstick, Applemint, and Blue Lagoon, GKD card stock, white embossing powder, ink daubers, and twine/heart die and Wink of Stella from my stash.  And of course, my score pal to make the box!

I make a lot of boxes for my Etsy store sales, so it never hurts to have extras lying around!
Thanks for stopping by!

Pink Lemonade Cheers

Hi all, this is Angie with another post as the guest designer over at Just Us Girls.
Thanks again so much for inviting me, it's been so much fun!

This week's Challenge is Photo Week #340 and look at this great inspiration photo!
Makes me thirsty just looking at it!

I used a piece of textured pink card stock for the top panel.  I stamped the sentiment with dark blue ink to match the striped in the patterned paper.  I used my Mini Misti, because with the texture it is hard to get a solid image.  The sentiment is from MFT Handlettered Holiday, I cut just the word "Cheers" off one of the stamps to use by itself.

The lovely citrus paper is a digital paper from a pack I bought off Etsy from AMGillustrations.  I matted a strip of the paper I printed to some striped blue and white patterned paper (to match the dish towel in the photo) from my stash.  The drink is a digital stamp from Hero Arts set "Let's Chill" available from a2zScrapbooking store or you can also buy it as a clear stamp set.  I sized the stamp and printed it on white card stock, colored it with Spectrum Noir markers and adhered it to the card front.  Lastly I added lots of Rainstones from Papertrey Ink to look like bubbles or drops of condensation, water or lemonade.  This was a really fun card to make!

I hope you can find the time this week to join along in the fun over at the Just Us Girls Challenge!

Wax background butterfly note

Just a note card made with background technique shown by Gina K. on Stamp TV this week using wax paper.  What a fun technique, although I couldn't find my iron forever!  I cleaned my craft area not too long ago and since then have been looking for lots of things.  Anybody else do that - clean it all up so good that you can't find anything?

Anyway, I used a Darice floral embossing folder to make the background with wax paper, then I sponged GKD Applemint ink on it.  I mounted a piece of black card stock with a butterfly cut out of it on the green background, then added two die cut butterflies (one in black on the bottom and one in mod podged covered antique sheet music.  I did that to make the music paper a little thicker so it wouldn't tear - it's very old!)  I glued them together then on the card along with a fancy flourish cut out of the same green background paper.  I heat embossed in white the sentiment from GKD stamp set called "Just a Note".  I thought that would go good with the music paper.  Finished with pearls on the butterfly center.  Butterfly die used is the Hero Arts Swallowtail Fancy Die.  Flourish die is Cheery Lynn Designs brand.

Polka Dot Foil You're the Best

Hi there, it's Angie, here with another card for the Just Us Girls month of April challenges.
Thanks so much for inviting me as this month guest designer, such an honor!

Be sure to check out all the fabulous inspiration from the JUGS Design Team!

I will have to admit that this was a tough one for me because I rarely use lavender or peach on my cards or even ivory for that matter!  So here's what I did:  I took a polka dot pattern (free off the internet) and printed it on a toner printer and then foiled it in gold with my Mini Minc.  Then I took the sentiment circle from Gina K. Designs (these toner printed greetings came in her last kit - Made With Love) and foiled it in gold.  I used GKD lavender and ivory card stock and a piece of peach card stock from my stash and cut them with MFT Stitched Rectangle frame dies, MFT stitched rectangle dies and Memory box stitched circle dies.  Put it all together and popped up the greeting on fun foam, then added the Tiny Twine bow die, from Waffle Flower.  This card was super easy and fast to make, just a little foiling and and some quick die cuts and it was complete.  I think it's a perfect card to send to my accountant for doing such a great job on my tax return!

I hope you can join in at the fun over at the Just Us Girls Challenge - Color Week - 339!

Shiny Bday

Simple CAS card for a family member's bday.  Supplies used were:  textured white card stock, washi tape, gold embossing powder, Mini Misti, GKD Blue Lagoon Ink, heart punch, and stamp set from Hero Arts, Messages with Flourishes.
I took a lot of pictures, trying to get the shine from the light - it looks different colors depending on the angle that you hold it!
