Bloom

Hi everyone!  Here's my first card for the month of April as guest designer over at Just Us Girls!
Thank you so much for inviting me!

This week is WORD week and the word is "Raindrops".  I hope you can join in the fun, just click  HERE for all the details and to play along.

I inked up some watercolor paper with Distress Inks and then splashed water droplets on it to create the water spots, then die cut it with MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Frames dies.  (Used same die for the pink frame.)  I stamped the Your Next Stamp retired rain boots and "Bloom" stamp in Momento ink and then colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, die cut it and a pink circle with Memory Box Stitched Circle dies.  After adhering everything on to the white textured card base, I added some pretty blue rain drop gems that I bought at the dollar store.  I tried to take pictures from several angles to capture the shine from the raindrop gems.  Lastly I added two die cuts of the Waffle Flower Tiny Twine Bow together right under the sentiment.

Hope you can stop by JUGS and see all the beautiful cards the amazing DT has made for your inspiration for this week's challenge!

Soaring Plaid Bird

Having fun playing with my new plaid pattern paper pack from Lawn Fawn.  This card was inspired by the challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas to use dies and the CAS(E) this Sketch #166.
I used the dies and stamps from The Cat's Pajamas "Home Tweet Home" set, along with the dotted die from MFT Sun Moon and Stars, some white, black and Applemint card stock from Gina K Designs.  I stacked the dies on 2 black cuts to give more dimension and outline to the bird and heart and then rounded the corners.  Here's links to the challenges I'm entering:

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope I'm not going overboard on the plaid, hahaha!

You Float my Boat-Plaid

Hi all, barely getting this card done in time to enter it in the Just Us Girls #336 Photo Inspiration Challenge!

Also entering this in the Simon Says Anything Wednesday Goes Challenge!

I used Lawn Fawn patterned paper and the LF set You Float My Boat and Distress Ink with my Mini Misti to stamp boat and sentiment.  Used LF Puffy Cloud Borders on bottom section of plaid paper and the MFT Sun Moon and Stars sun die cut out of metallic yellow card stock.  Card base is textured navy card stock from my stash.  Topped it off with some twine and Rainstones from Papertrey Ink.
I just received this Lawn Fawn paper and my new Simon Says kit so....I think I'm going to be using all the goodies in it, plus this "PLAID" a lot because I just love these papers!

Happy Thursday everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Lift me up butterflies

Sentiment is from Verve Brighter Days set.  I stamped it and then copied it on a toner copier so I could foil it in my Mini Minc.  The dots on the left side are washi tape, banner in center is from Cheery Lynn Designs, butterflies are die from Lawn Fawn Grassy Meadows set, black scalloped circle is a punch, circle die is Memory Box, card base is textured card stock.  Entering this in the:

Hello Gorgeous Vine

Card base is Applemint card stock from Gina K. Designs.  The background is a large vine rubber stamp from Hero Arts stamped in Hero Arts black ink.  MFT dotted rectangle die used to cut canvas, then stamped with Hero Arts sentiment from the Hero Arts Hello Gorgeous set CL924.  Tiny butterflies are die cut with Lawn Fawn set Grassy Meadows Borders and Tiny Twine bow die is Waffle Flowers.  Entering this in:

Polka Dot Great Day

Inspired by several challenges, today I made this everyday card using a floral stamp set from my stash.  I have no idea what the name of it is or the manufacturer is because it was one of my very first stamp sets and I didn't save the packaging.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Messages with Flourishes.
I masked off the center section and stamped and masked different flowers from the set in Hero Arts, Shadow Ink Peach Mid-Tone, Gina K Designs Lipstick and Blue Lagoon, and Versafine Smokey Gray.  Then I moved the mask to the outsides and sponged the peach ink inside the strip and stamped the sentiment in Smokey Gray.  I die cut the panel with MFT Stitched Rectangle die and added strips of May Arts polka dot ribbon to the top and bottom.  I put some polka dot washi tape on card stock and die cut the heart with Paper Smooches die, then added Wink of Stella to all the flowers.  I popped the panel up on fun foam on a gray card base.  I am entering this in the following challenges:

Thanks a Bushel!

I'm back in the woman cave, crafting away!  It was nice to see my son, his wife and my 2 sweet grandkids over the weekend!

This card was inspired by several challenges and I always need thank you cards in my stash.  I used the stamp set from Jellibean Soup "Fresh Vegetable Soup" to stamp the carrots and sentiment.  I don't have many bunny stamps so I found this freebie digital stamp online, yay for freebies!  I colored the carrots and bunny with Zig Clean Color Markers, Copics and Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut them out.  I used the Lawn Fawn Grassy Meadows die to create the grass after stamping the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black.  I tucked the bunny and one carrot in the grass, added a little cool gray shadow and then I added a little Wink of Stella on the pink parts of the bunny.  You can see it better in the close up below.  I'm entering this in the following challenges:
