Wishing

For Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

I was in a hurry to take pictures and hadn't really adhered the square panel on fully,  I've since gone back and actually glued the top left corner.  (In the picture, the square is hanging on by a pop dot in the bottom right corner, haha!). I used patterned paper from Gina K Designs, cardstock from my stash, a flourish die cut washi tape and a stamped and die cut butterfly with added pearls.  Sentiment is from Verve Stamps Brighter Days.  I've never entered this challenge before, but I'm glad
I found out about it!

Happy Easter Floral Watercolor

This is not my normal style, but I thought it would be a great card for my in-laws for Easter.  Supplies used were Zig Clean Brush Markers and water, Post-It tape for masking edges, Sizzix Oval die cut, pattern paper from my stash, floral stickers from my stash, gems and twine from my stash, Martha Stewart glitter/seed beads etc. for the shaker contents, "Celebrate Everyday" stamp set from Hero Arts for the sentiment stamped in Hero Arts Hues black ink, Tim Holtz watercolor paper and kraft textured cardstock from my stash.  Entering this in the following challenges:

You Are A Force

One layer card made with sentiment from Verve Stamp set called Just Breathe, heat embossed in clear.  I used Distress Inks and the smooshing technique with a water and a piece of acetate.  Die is the Dots frome Avery Elle a Dots & Dashes, finished with corner rounder.

Entering this in the Less is More #267 Challenge for One Layer Sentiment's the focus.  Do the water droplets from Pretty Pink Posh disqualify this from the challenge?

I think the inks on these almost look like lightening bolts....a force to be reckoned with for sure!

Saying Hello

Just Saying Hello card for my card stash....I used GKD Blue Lagoon cardstock and ink along with Hero Arts products:  1)  Bold Floral Stencil 2) Acts of Kindness, hearts 3) Messages with Flourish

Also used Versafine black ink, Color Box White Ink, Mays Arts Ribbon and scalloped border die from Avery Elle.  Entering this in the MFT Sketch 271 Challenge
I rotated the sketch and used the sentiment for the line down the center and hearts instead of stars.

Kind Fierce and Brave

I printed up some patterns on a laser printer and then foiled them a couple of days ago.  I printed a tiny polka dot pattern and foiled it in silver, then cut a frame (MFT) and a few hearts (Paper Smooches) out of the foiled panel.  I heat embossed the sentiment from Verve Stamps "Just Breathe" set on black cardstock with fine detail white embossing powder.  I cut the black cardstock with a stitched rectangle die (MFT) then added the die cut hearts.   I love the sentiments in this set!  After adhering all the parts and pieces, I added a little twine and some washi tape to the top.  If you look closely in some of the pictures you can see the shine of the foiling - it's really so shiny in person.
I made this for The Challenge Sketch #63

Sending Monster Hugs

Love these Lawn Fawn Monsters from Monster Mash set!  This was a quite a challenge to come up with black and white and just a splash of color.  I used the Lawn Fawn Meadows Borders to cut the grass, and I white heat embossed the monsters on black cardstock with white fine detail powder.  Used Versafine black ink for hearts and sentiment from the same Monster Mash set.
The frame border die is from MFT.  Here's a link to the Landscaping #125 Color Splash Challenge.

Just Breathe

Hi all,  I'm back again with a card that looks like embossing but actually isn't.

I learned this technique from A2Z's  Martha Lucia and I love to use it on cards!  (Thanks Martha!)  I used the Hero Arts Bold Floral Stencil SA067 over GKD Moonlit Fog cardstock and sponged the matching GKD ink on the card over the stencil, then I moved the stencil slightly down and to the right and sponged again with white ink and poof - there you have a 3D looking background in no time at all!

I cut the panel with a MFT scalloped frame die and another in white to inset the background panel into.

Lastly, I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment Just Breathe in Hero Arts Black Ink
from Hero Arts Hello Gorgeous CL924.  I just love that stamp set.
