Gift card Holder-Get Well Soon

Made this gift card holder for someone who's had surgery and can't cook right now.  Filled it with a restaurant gift card.  I used a Sizzix pocket die by Jillibean Soup that my daughter gave me for Christmas on a piece of cream cardstock, and I heat embossed gold sentiment and dots. Sentiment is from Hero Arts, Dots are from Simon Says, added Distress Ink in Tattered Rose with an ink dauber.  Tiny Twine Bow die from Waffle Flower was cut from paper I also heat embossed with gold fine detail embossing powder.  Entering this in Cupcake Inspirations #344 Challenge to use cream, blush and gold.  And in the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #221 to make the sentiment the star.  See sketch below, and in Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge

You Make My Heart Soar

You Make My Heart Soar card made with red and white cardstock, We R Memories Next Level hearts embossing folder and stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas set called Home Tweet Home.  I also used Die Namics stitched rectangle die and a brad from my stash.

Entering this in the Simon Says Love is in the Air - Use Red Challenge:

Blush Cream and Gold Sparkle

I had made a similar card for my daughters last year and they loved them.  I had made them one layer in gold, blues and greens and without any flowers.  I used gold fine detail embossing powder - I have ordered the Minc Mini and I am ready to start adding foiling to my cards in the future....Hope I can do it!  They make it look very easy on the videos!  We will soon see......

Supplies used for this card were:  Stamps from Gina K Designs Flowers and Frames 1, along with the flower dies from that same set, music background stamp used on flowers is also from GKD - her Christmas Wishes set.  Background is snow stamp from Simon Says Stamp called Be Joyful and sentiment in gold is from a Simon Says set called Sparkle and Shine, Cardstock is Bazzill and cream colored from GKD.  Brads are from my stash and so is the added Wink of Stella on the flowers.

I am entering this in the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #344 to use Blush Cream and Gold in your card.  Also entering this into the Crafting by Designs Sparkle Challenge.  (Winter, Glitter and Sparkle)  We didn't get snow here in Texas like they did in the eastern part of the country, so I made a little of it here on this card for us in the Lone Star State!

Here are a few more fews so you can see the sparkle from different angles.

Happy crafting!!!

Get Well Soon

I had fun making this Get Well Card to keep in my stash of cards for when I need it - always like to have them on hand!  I combined 3 challenges for this card.  First I used Hero Arts Messages with flourishs to stamp two greetings - one the card itself - one for masking the curves of the sentiment.

I cut a circle mask for the sun also.  Then I inked the background, then stamped the flowers from Verve's Floral Whimsy set.  I spritzed water for some texture.  Inks used were Distress Inks in Fossilized Amber and Festive Berries and the brown is SU Chocolate Chip.  These were the closest colors I had to the color challenge listed below.

I cut the top panel with MFT stitched rectangle die and mounted it up on fun foam for dimension.  The tiny bow is from Waffle Flower - a die called Tiny Twine Bow.  Added Wink of Stella on all flowers, sun and bow, topped bow off in the center with a rainstone from Papertrey Ink.

Hope you all have a lovely week!!!

Water You Up To?

I made this card for one of my grandsons!  Yellow cardstock is Sweet Corn from GKD, Blue and white cardstock are both from my stash.  Dies used were Memory Box stitched circle dies and Lawn Fawn puffy clouds borders for the ocean waves.  The chevon paper was cut into strips from the pack called ColorBox Carnival designer paper, Ink used was Distress Ink in Chipped Sapphire along with my Misti to get it nice and dark.  I added rainstones for water droplets and they are made by Papertrey Ink.  The sentiment is a rubber stamp I bought in a box of used stamps in a garage sale so I have no idea what set it is from.  The boat is from TCP Transportation set.  I can't wait to send this one in the mail!
Happy Sunday everyone!

Love You Hearts

Valentine card made for a family member - I'm slowly but surely getting all these done ahead of time because I will have a week or so in there that I will not be able to get much crafting done and I want to get these in the mail soon!

I used GKD cardstock and the heart paper is also GKD patterned paper.  The other patterned paper is from Bazzill Kraft stack.  Brown hearts were die cut with Spellbinders heart dies and dry embossed with both the Next Level heart embossing folder (which was hard to see) so I embossed them again with my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  Love you stamp and die is from Hero Arts Yes Stamp and Die set, stamped with my Misti in Firebrick Red (DI).  Little gold bow is tied with ribbon I received from GKD also - I'm almost out of it which makes me sad - it ties so easily and keeps it's shape.  Added Wink of Stella on 3 of the brown hearts then adhered everything to a brown card base.

This card was a lot of fun to make!  Entering it in
and in Share Joy Challenge #19 I used the tic tac toe items:  hearts, glitter (Wink of Stella) and embossing (brown hearts)
