Ruff Day?

I received my very first stamps and die from Your Next Stamp and had so much fun playing with them today. I really like their selection of stamps and dies and I'm so glad I found them online!

I made this card with GKD cardstock, except the gray, which is from my stash.  I cut two YNS Stitched Looped Borders and stamped this sweet YNS dog from their I Ruff You set.

I colored him and the fence with Spectrum Noir markers in cool and warm grays.  The top white panel was dry embossed with a crisscross pattern.  I tried to get a close up of the added a Wink of Stella on his tongue and eyes.

Love You Hearts and Dots

I'm starting on this year's Valentine's Day cards and this is my first one.  I will send this to one of my daughters in Feb.  I started with a red card base and white panel and rounded the corners on the right side.  Then I die cut the hole pattern with Paper Smooches Dots and Dashes dies before adhering it to the card base.  Heart stamp, from Hero Arts Yes Stamp and Cut set, was stamped with Fire Brick red ink with my Misti.  Gingham patterned paper on inside and out, is from Gina K Designs Cold Snap pack.  Tiny twine bow die from Waffle Flower used on red cardstock for embellishment along with 3 heart sequins from my stash.

Balloon Birthday

Today has been a busy day, but I just had to try this idea using polymer clay on a card.  So here's what I came up with:

Happy Birthday card with lots of balloons cut from different papers in my stash, along with a dark brown polymer clay balloon I made.  I used tiny clay cutter in circle shape and a stich pattern I have with holes in it and a fine tip gold marker to add dots in swirls to the clay.  I put a hole through it before I baked it so I could run a string through it and tie a bow. I had a hard time getting a string through the hole so I ended up using white waxed linen for the string from my jewelry making stash.  The wax linen actually worked lots better because it holds its shape and it makes the bow is easier to form.  Birthday cake stamp is from Gina K Designs Happy Birthday to You set.  Dies used were Spellbinders scalloped rectangle, Avery Elle dotted border dies, and Paper Smooches balloon dies.  Cardstock is all GKD in Dark Chocolate and White.  Cardbase is white, center panel is popped up on thick fun foam for a fun look and a few balloons also were popped up.

All Things Grow With Love

This was a really fun card to make!  I used Reverse Confetti stamps and dies from Love Blooms set.  Stamped bottom layer of flowers on Bazzill Handsome cardstock in a similar color ink, then stamped top layer in Versamark and heat embossed them with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.  Leaves and sentiment were stamped on green cardstock in brown ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Patterned paper is from Bazzill Kraft pack. Popped some flowers up, curled ends of leaves and popped sentiment up on fun foam for dimension.
