Sweet with Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp

Hello and welcome!

I have a CAS card for you today using the "Ring" die from Simon Says Stamp along with a stamp set from Hero Arts called "Sweet You" that was gifted to me by a dear friend.  I cut the die 4 times, 3 out of regular white card stock and the 4th from glossy card stock.  I glued them all together and put the glossy one on top so it would stand out against the white background.  I stamped the circle and sweet stamp with Versafine Clair ink, then die cut it out and popped it up over the largest circle in the "Ring" die.  Lastly I took neon Zig colors in green and pink and colored the tiny flowers and leaves.  Here's a couple more views:

In the picture below, you can see the glossy paper shine just a little on the top right:

Freedom Isn't Free with Tim Holtz & Reverse Confetti

Hello and welcome! 

I have started on cards for the next DFW Honor Flight veterans.  If you are not aware of this group, it's a volunteer non-profit group that fundraises to be able to send senior veterans on an "Honor Flight" to honor them for their service.  They fly them all expenses paid to the national veterans monuments and treat them with many things including a "Mail Call" on the flight.

For my cards, I used stamps from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous "Americana" set, a sentiment from Reverse Confetti "Because of the Brave", Zig clean color markers, Versafine Clair Nocturne ink plus tiny stars from Memory Box "Twinkle Breeze" die.

Just Us Girls Challenge #494 Fancy Fold

      

Hello and welcome!

There's a brand new challenge over at Just Us Girls hosted by Ina and she has chosen:

Now I don't know about you but "fancy folds" is not my thing at all!
I did the least fancy fold every....simple gatefold.
I watch a lot of videos on fancy fold cards but just couldn't get inspired so instead, I concentrated on an easy fold but some fun content!  I won these bee stamp set and dies from Paper Smooches in a recent "Bee Aware" blog hop - thanks so much Kim over at Paper Smooches for the great prize!
