Here's a sneak look of my first project for today!

Hello and welcome!
Today is an EXCITING day - it's Day 2 of reveals of the NEW RELEASE !!!

I'm here today with the brand newly release Joy Clair Color By Faith stamp set called "Blossom". This is a gorgeous set with five cactus plant images and 3 sentiments.

Here's a look at the new set:

I love cactus stamps and these are not only great images, the sentiments are perfect for both bible journaling, cards, scrapbooking and all kinds of projects.

I started by stamping 4 sets of the cactus images with my Misti and then cutting them out. All Joy Clair stamp sets come with free cutting files which really is convenient and saves on having to buy dies.

After stamping them I made a background on a piece of card stock to practice what I wanted to put on my bible page. I used Distress Crayons, Distress inks and Hero Arts inks with a make up blending brush and cloud die cut. Next I created the background on my bible page: Isaiah 35:1-10

These verses are full of reasons to rejoice and be assured that God will never desert you.

This passage reminds us that God wants us to rejoice and blossom as we go through each day. He wants us to stop worrying. He will not only provide for our needs, and give us safe passageway, He wants us to be joyful and glad and know that He is always with us and will never desert us.
How reassuring is that?

Here's how I used this new set on my bible pages:

1) After preparing the background on the page, I colored the cactus with Prismacolor pencils and laid them out how I wanted them and took a picture so I could remember my layout.

2) I stamped the sentiment "Rejoice and Blossom" at the top and "He will never desert me" on the bottom of the left page.

3) I ran the cacti through my Xyron machine to make them into stickers.

4) After making all the stickers I adhered them to the pages, both left and right side.

5) I added a few stamps (arrows, hearts) from the Joy Clair Lightbulb Moment stamp set and took a black marker and added doodles and more arrows and crayon shading under the cacti.

6) I also added a "God is with us" sticker and a strip sticker from my stash on the right side page.

I also made a card with this set:

I used 3 of the cactus stamps and the "I will never desert you" sentiment on kraft card stock. I added the kraft to a white card base, rounded the top corners and added a strip of washi tape under the sentiment.

There are so many possibilities to create with this new Joy Clair Blossom set! I love succulent stamps and I will be using this set a lot! Thanks so much for stopping by!
