Joy Clair Martha's Flowers - 2 Cards

 

Hello and welcome!

I'm over on the Joy Clair blog today with two cards made with the brand new "Martha's Flowers" stamp set.  This set was made in honor of Martha, our DT coordinator and it's beautiful-just like her!
It's one of the stamps sets newly released by Joy Clair this month!

Here's a look at the set:




I stamped the images from the set and cut them out.  Next I colored them with Copics.



For my first card, I used MFT Sno Cone Ink and a sponge make-up applicator with an Echo Park stencil to create a grid background.  I made it darker at the top and lighter at the bottom.

Next, I heat embossed all of the sentiments from the set in white on black card stock.

For my second card I inked the top with Distress Inks in blues, then splashed water on it for a cool effect.

I popped up the flowers on foam tape and cut the sentiments out for each card.

Aren't the flowers and sentiments in this set absolutely gorgeous?
