Woodgrain Smile

This card was inspired by the Photo Week Challenge #349 over at Just Us Girls!

Supplies used were:  Patterned Paper, white card stock, brown ink, dies from Simon Says (smile) and MFT (circles) and Wplus9 (top scalloped panel).  Again, trying to make cards that are flat and will go through the mail easily.  So I stopped myself from adding anything else to this card!

Honeycomb Miracles

Colorful card inspired by the colors in The Heart Desires Challenge 1:

(Gold on bottom of card, stencil, and doodle is the doodling looking sentiment)

and in The Virgina's View Challenge 22 Summer Colors

I used Tim Holtz Honeycomb stencil and inks in the colors above, then trimmed the top panel, outlined it in black and added the large sentiment from Simon Says Stamp "Look for the Miracles" set.  I've been trying to make flatter cards so they will go through the mail easier.  It's not easy for me because I like to add sequins and other goodies.....but I'm trying!

Hello in Yellow

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!  I made this card for a family member using a sentiment from Hero Arts "You're So Lovely" on a banner die cut from Mama Elephant.  The patterned paper in the background is from an older Simon Says kit.  The flowers are "Scribbled Roses" from Frantic Stamper.  I cut the roses from fun foam, metallic card stock and textured green card stock, and from the patterned paper so I could inlay the dies.  I finished it with a few rain stones from Papertrey Ink.

Dream in Chocolate

Dream card made with lovely shades of turquoise and brown.  This card was made with "Dream" die from Simon Says Stamp, card stock and patterned paper is from Simon Says (an older kit), inked the edges with DI in Walnut Stain, die cut flower is the edging from the Hero Arts, DI181 Paper Layering Daisy die.  After adhering the pieces together and popping up the embossed flower (embossed with We R Memories Next Level folder) I sprayed the whole card with Sparkle Shimmer mist.  I tried to get some close ups of the shimmer, but it is hard to see just how much shine there is on this card!
