Leaves are Falling

I had a lot of fun playing in the cave today.  For this card I used Poppy Stamps "Falling for You" stamp and die set and colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I added a few clear Nuvo drops for accents.

Cheers to You X 3

I had a little time to play in the cave today and made some more wine cards.  I seem to be making a lot of wine cards lately!  These 3 were made with MFT Uncork stamp set and Rubbernecker Watercolor Wine stamp set.  The white card base is Gina K Designs and the light beige is Stampin' Up.  I used Rich Razzleberry Ink and some Hero Arts black ink.  These cards are super CAS and quick to make.  I just love that MFT font in that set.  I think it's one of my favorites!

ABC Apple

Here's my 2nd card for today - playing with school and apple themes....

For this card, I used Lawn Fawn plaid paper and black card stock to cut the ABC letters and glued them a little offset to look like a shadow.  I stamped the apple from Maya Road and colored it with Zigs and a water brush, then fussy cut it out and mounted it on foam tape for dimension.  I added the little strip of plaid on the bottom and rounded both top corners.  Fast and easy!

Back to School!

Hi everyone, hope your weekend is going well.  I'm praying for all the people in Hurricane Irma's path.  Please stay safe my friends!

We got back a few days ago from my daughter's wedding.  It was so beautiful - I did put a few pictures on FB and IG.  I'll add some at the end of this post too.
We had a wonderful time and I feel very lucky to have such a great new SIL!

I had a little time to play in the cave today!  I used the Your Next Stamp apple die on some Lawn Fawn plaid paper and also on the card front so you can see the stitched edge it leaves.  I then cut the ABC letters out of black patterned paper and white card stock and glued them offset a little to look like a shadow.  I cut the panel with Gina Marie Wonky Rectangle die and added a wooden "back to school" sticker from my stash (from the Dollar Tree) and a few Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter drops for a little sparkle!

Just Us Girls #410 Trend Week - Block Watercolor Stamping

It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby has chosen one of my favorite trends:  Block Watercolor Stamping!  I love the look you get with stamping inks with a clear acrylic block!

Our guest designer this month is Linda Snodgrass .  Be sure to stop by her awesome blog to check out her gorgeous creations!

I used a panel of watercolor paper and Distress Ink in Fossilized Amber and Reverse Confetti Aqua ink with my stamp block, misted with water.  After it dried, I added the sentiment from Happy Little Stampers "Bold Birthday Sentiments" in brown Staz-On ink.  I cut the watercolor paper with Gina Marie Wonky rectangle die then mounted it on a piece of Stampin' Up brown card stock, then to a Gina K Designs card base.  Lastly I added Limoncello Nuvo Jewel drops to the flowers.

Be sure to check out all the DT cards HERE, and hope you can join us this week!

We can't wait to see what you create!

Christmas is Magical

Hi there!  So happy to be here with my September DT creation for the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies September Challenge!  Hope you will have time to join the fun this month!

I used the Happy Little Stampers Village Die and cut it from black card stock.  I put it on a background that I made with black card stock, Distress Oxide Inks, water, shimmer mist, white paint, and Nuvo glitter drops.  Then I put some Marvy snow marker on the tops of the die cut and used my heat gun to puff it up.  The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers "Christmas Joy" set and the Santa sleigh image is a stamp from Inkadinkado called "Holiday Silhouette."  I added Gelly Roll glitter pen to the windows of the houses to give them a reflective look.  Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year - I love that sentiment!

Just Us Girls Challenge #409 Word Week - Shoes

It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa has chosen "Shoes"!  How fun is that?

Our guest designer this month is Linda Snodgrass!  Be sure to stop by her awesome blog to check out her creations!

I chose to use the Darice witches shoes embossing folder for my card.  I embossed it on some watercolor paper, then fussy cut the shoes out and colored them with a black Zig marker.  I added 2 cute brads from my stash, one says "eek" and the other one says "boo".  I used the legs of the embossed piece as a pattern for the dotted paper and cut the socks from it.  That paper and the orange checked paper is from Reverse Confetti's "Fright Night" paper pack.  I used Reverse Confetti "Tangerine" ink for the sentiment background banner and the sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's "Too Cute to Spook" stamp set.  All card stock is from Gina K Designs.

Be sure to check out all the DT cards HERE, and hope you can join us this week!

We can't wait to see what you create!
