I'm so very honored and excited to be the guest designer this week at CASology!
Here's this week's cue card inspiration:
As a musician, when I think of the word "Warm", I think of warming up! Probably not a common reaction to the cue card word! I wanted to have a critter musician warming up on my card so I chose this cute guitar playing koala bear from a Recollections set and added some Hero Arts woodgrain vellum, colored with a SN brown marker, behind him to help him look like he was in a tree, "just warming up."
I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers, cut him out with a stitched circle die and added him on the vellum inside the inverted stitched scalloped circle die cut from the center of the card. I added a panel to the back of the front of card with another circle cut out so that light will come through the vellum and you can see the woodgrain. Then I added silly google eyes to him, along with a couple of music notes coming out of his guitar. (The sentiment was made on my computer and printed on the front of my card.) You can see light coming through the vellum in the picture below.

ReplyDeleteSo cute and adorable and I love those eyes!
ReplyDeleteThis little fella made me smile. Really like how you used the inverted scallop to show off the vellum paper. Thanks for joining us on the Tuesday Throwdown challenge this week. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
ReplyDeleteAwesome take on the cue word and a wonderful contribution as the Guest Designer with us at CASology this week, Angie!
