I made this card for a a group of musicians to sign and give to a friend
who is having surgery next week.
I made it using:
Lawn Fawn's "On the Mend" stamp set,
Spectrum Noir markers and Wink of Stella,
white Gina K Designs card stock,
white gel pen,
Stencil Studio 490's "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend"
Reverse Confetti green inks and Clarity Stencil brushes.
I'll be entering this in the following challenges:
The Paper Players Color Challenge #321
Less is More One Layer Books/Literature #302 (tortoise and hare)
Casology Week 223 Challenge Addicted to CAS Ombre Challenge

I'm guessing this was inspired by the tale of the tortoise and the hare - great take on our books/literature theme if so! The background really sets off the tortoise, and I love the playful sentiment. Fab card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

ReplyDeleteThat sentiment was just made to go with the cute image! I love it. The bold colours of the tortoise are complemented by the beautiful and delicate stencil work in the background. The way you made the stencilling fade out keep the card really CAS looking. Fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More. xx
